Boteh Scarf- another crochet design!

I love the undulating sections of this scarf– This crochet scarf by Deedee was made on a size F hook. Only 1 ball for a 4.5″ x 72″ scarf– Which means if you are tired of making socks, then all you need is 100G of Sockotta and a hook. I love how the design in enhanced by the self striping of the yarn. Knitting Addiction Visit

Hello, I am Mary in the customer service department.  Last week, my family and I were fortunate enough to vacation in Nags Head, North Carolina, The Outer Banks. Being at the beach is one of my most favorite things in life! I took some time and stopped to visit Knitting Addiction just up the road in Southern Shores. Wooohoo, what a nice yarn shop. The nicest I’ve seen! I had a chance to meet the owner,  Jeanne Shrader, her staff and tour her beautiful shop. I also learned that Jeanne is a Volunteer Fire Fighter. This shop has an amazing amount of square footage and is a yarn lover’s paradise! There is an amazing supply of Plymouth’s yarns and patterns. The displays in this shop make choosing your next project a breeze. Sample garments and patterns are displayed prominently over the available colors of that particular yarn. Encore DK Zen

I write a lot about what I find that’s new and cool in the knitting world. I hardly every write about crochet and I plan on changing that. Crocheters need a voice as well- and I’ve noticed the craft is becoming more popular every day.
