Plymouth Yarn Company has been in business for just over 47 years and we’d like to introduce you to Betty, a fixture here since 1966. We thought it was time to honor our awesome octogenarian! Betty just celebrated her 87th birthday in May and we couldn’t be happier that she spent her day with us. Betty is one of three sisters and moved to Pennsylvania from Buffalo, NY when she was 15. The Royal Wedding Shrug

It has been just a couple of months since The Royal Wedding and still all eyes are on Kate Middleton (her official last name is Mountbatten-Windsor; I’ll stick with Middleton for now!). Stitch N Pitch 2011

Stitch N’ Pitch brings together two traditions — Baseball and needle arts. Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, or cross-stitch, everyone is welcome from the beginners to the experts.  On Wednesday, June 15th, the Plymouth Yarn family attended the major league event at Citizen’s Bank Park in Philadelphia to cheer on our Phightin’ Phils! Summer yarn bug

I am always looking for little projects to do with my three year old son.  He enjoys helping me clean, bake and cook.  So I have tried to get him into the arts and crafts a little more.   So as usual I go on the internet and try to find some quick projects for us to work on.
