Location

Materials Needed
4-100g skeins of Plymouth Yarn Electra-Lite, sample and tutorials used color #0002 Silver, (this pattern uses a few yards more than 3 skeins, 4 skeins are recommended)
1 set US size 7/4mm 32″ circular needle (pattern is worked flat, circular needle is required to accommodate the large number of stitches).
6 stitch markers.
Tapestry needle, scissors, dpns are optional but nice to have handy.
Gauge
17 sts / 24 1/2 rows = 4 inches after blocking, gauge is not critical but can affect yardage.
PATTERN
CLUE 6: CREEPING MIST BORDER
The final moments before light, a mist creeps in to hold us tight. Curling, slinking, wrapping ‘round, its thick white fog obscures the ground. Bind off quick before you sink, dissipate it in a wink!
Using the knitted method Cast on 15 sts to the left needle.
Row 1 (RS): k14, ssk joining with 1 stitch from main body, turn work.
Row 2 (WS): sl1wyif, knit to end.
Rep last 2 rows once more.
Pattern Setup Row (RS): work Creeping Mist Border Pattern joining with main body on last ssk of RS row.
(WS): work Creeping Mist Border Pattern to end.
Continue as established, progressing in Creeping Mist Border Pattern 1 and joining the last ssk of every RS row with the main body for 1, 020 more rows (73 repeats of Rows 1-14 of the Creeping Mist Border Pattern complete).
Rep Rows 1-2 twice more.
Final Row: Bind off 14 sts, ssk joining with final main body stitch, pass last bound off stitch over dec, cut yarn and pull through.
Finishing
Wet block to measurements, work in any loose ends with tapestry needle.
Creeping Mist Border Pattern
During border pattern the last ssk of every RS row joins one stitch on the border with one stitch from the main body.
Row 1 (RS): k2, yo, k2, p2, k6, p2, ssk (joining st).
Row 2 and every WS row: sl1 wyif, k2, p6, k2, p1, knit to end.
Row 3: k2, yo, k3, p2, k3, yo, k2tog, k1, p2, ssk (joining st).
Row 5: k2, yo, k4, p2, k1, ssk, yo, k3, p2, ssk (joining st).
Row 7: k2, yo, k5, p2, k3, yo, k2tog, k1, p2, ssk (joining st).
Row 9: k2, yo, k6, p2, k1, ssk, yo, k3, p2, ssk (joining st).
Row 11: bind off 5, k3, p2, k6, p2, ssk (joining st).
Row 13: k4, p2, k6, p2, ssk (joining st).
Repeat these 14 rows for pattern.

ABBREVIATIONS: cdd = slip 2 as if to knit, k1, psso, k = knit, k2tog = knit 2 sts together, p = purl, psso = pass slip st over, p2tog = purl 2 sts together, p2togtbl = purl 2 sts together through back loop, pm = place marker, RS = right side, sl = slip, sm = slip marker, ssk = slip 1 st as if to knit, slip a second st as if to knit, knit them together through the back loop, st(s) = stitch(es), tbl = through back loop, tog = together, WS = wrong side, yo = yarn over, wyif = with yarn in front.
TUTORIAL
This clue has bound off stitches worked within the border to shape the edge of the work. Working these bound off stitches with the knitted method can ensure that the shaping is stretchy for blocking out.
In an effort to keep the clues in this knitalong totally secret the tutorials are shown over stockinette stitch.
Begin by knitting the first two stitches.
Now pass the stitches back to the left needle tip to tip keeping the left needle in front and the right needle in back, your needles are all ready to work a knit 2 together through back loop (k2togtbl).
Wrap and pull through completing the k2togtbl
Knit the next stitch as normal
Then repeat the last 3 steps, (passing the stitches back tip to tip, k2togtbl, and knit 1) ending with the k2togtbl for the required number of bound off stitches.
