Our amazing yarn from Peru

Our newest sock weight yarn really takes sock yarns up a notch! This self -striping Peruvian blend of fine merino superwash wool, alpaca and nylon yields 384 yards of vibrant color!

We are so pleased with this sock weight yarn that we source with our partner mill in Peru. It is a hybrid mix of fibers and features 20% FS Alpaca which provides good temperature control for the wearer. It breathes due to microscopic air bubbles in the hair that makes the fiber. This allows for cooling in the heat and heating in the cool. It is also a very durable fiber.
